I like a day of doing things. I do not like feeling frazzled while I do them.
Yesterday, for about 90% of it, I stayed present and moved around (I rarely go in order) my to-do list getting things done.
The 10% of it that felt frazzled was when I lost track of the moment and started fretting with feelings of being watched/judged/supportless.
Today I'm aiming for 100% presence. Keeping my thoughts on my own strengths.
Which leads me to this #Dailycupcake about Mindlessness that follows the Pilates principle of "flow". Depending on what you need in your day you can take:
Just a nibble- “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things." - Robert Brault
A few bites– When you catch yourself reaching for your smartphone for a mindless check in stop.
Every last bite– Challenge yourself to a whole day of focus from start to finish on the activity at hand.
