Daily Cupcake #6: Steps
After 16 months I still don't feel exactly the same physically as I did pre-baby. Maybe I never will?
I'm still nursing, so there is that. I still feel a bit of separation in one section of my abdominals. My arms are more defined though, which I attribute to lots of carrying. I also have a general feeling of less flexibility if I don't stay on top of it, which I also attribute to the extra carrying and an old back energy.
For a while my fitness goals were just to get back to running (done) and doing Pilates regularly (mostly done, ironically enough).
I usually do Pilates in the morning and run in the evening. The former is more likely to be disrupted by life.
My current fitness goals are more about keeping life in order to promote fitness as a lifestyle: the day was organized with healthy eating, so I feel good about exercising, exercising is energizing, so I keep my life feeling organized.
