Finding Your Pilates Flow

A Pilates routine can have so much flow that the movement looks like a choreographed dance. Achieving this type of flow not only looks beautiful, it feels good in your body. It's about transitioning from one move to the next seamlessly. For example, I may perform the move 'rolling like a ball' and on the last one bring myself all the way to standing; rather than, stopping myself and jut standing up. 

Being a visual person I created a flowchart (haha!) for how Pilates moves can flow into each other throughout a routine. I've included the name of each exercise, how many repetitions or sets and options for next moves.

All of these moves can be done with only a mat or cushioned surface, so build out your own routine and let me know how you found your Pilates flow!
