Daily Cupcake #54: Perspective
Some days don't go entirely as planned and some days get pretty close--or the unexpected works out better than I'd planned.
Regardless, it is just another opportunity to be present in the day enough to notice what is happening and how it makes me feel.
Being present enough to have that perspective takes concentration.
Once I'm aware it takes recognizing what I do have control over, which is lots. Like if the day shifts unexpectedly so to can my Pilates routine.
Having perspective reveals all of the day's opportunities.
Which leads me to this #DailyCupcake about Perspective that follows the Pilates principle of "concentration". Depending on what you need in your day you can take:

A few bites: Reflect on a recent interaction that didn’t go how you’d hoped and consider what you might do differently if something similar happens again.
Every last bite: Pick one relationship you’d like to improve and layout a new tactic.
