Daily Cupcake #35: Decisions
Not only is it the beginning of a new month, it is a month that marks transition for many of us whether it is for back to school or preparations for the Fall. As a natural reminder to take stock of my achievement of my goals in key areas of my life like family, health and hobbies, I find a consistent theme of wanting to put the mundane on auto-pilot as much as possible to ensure I'm using my time on high-value activities.
Which leads me to this #DailyCupcake about Decisions that follows the Pilates principle of "concentration". Depending on what you need in your day you can take:
Just a nibble: “It comes down to you and the choices you make.” Anonymous
A few bites: Consider how many decisions you make in a day. Write them out. Which ones can you simplify, so you don’t waste energy making them (like picking out an outfit or breakfast)?
Every last bite: Streamline your daily routine to leave the bulk of your decision making to what really matters.
