Daily Cupcake #25: Games

I consider having dedicated planning time a necessity in order to move forward on a project.

The problem is that if I cannot prioritize that dedicated time, then the project stalls. 

I am trying to test accomplishing the planning in smaller chunks spread throughout the day.  

Focusing my mind enough in those moments to actually make progress is difficult. 

Like in well choreographed Pilates routine, I need a general planning sequence to keep me on track. Now to figure out what that looks like.  

Which leads me to this #DailyCupcake about Games that follows the Pilates principle of "precision". Depending on what you need in your day you can take:

Just a nibble: “…decide on three things at the start: the rules of the game, the stakes, and the quitting time.” Chinese Proverb
A few bites: Consider your progress with a new project or intention that you've started.
 
Every last bite: Define the rules of the game for your new project or intention to be as specific as possible about what the outcome is, the risks and benefits, and when you will shift your energy elsewhere if the benefits turn out to not be as expected.
