Being productive is all well and good, but sometimes it can can get me into a such a flow state that it becomes draining.
I'll look up and realize that I've been humming along only to find I've also worked myself into a mental state that isn't one that is aware of the present and calm.
Maintaining my optimal mental status is what keeps me grounded and affords me the most consistent mental energy to do the work of my days.
Finding that optimal mental state has taken effort from embracing my natural personality traits to visualizing the life I want to live.
