Daily Cupcake #325: Life
My family and I evacuated Charleston, SC this past week because of the hurricane. We tried to make the most of the unexpected trip to see some friends and sights.
It still feels good to be home and reconnected with all the creature comforts that make it so.
Now it is just a matter of decompressing and riding out this next week with lots of grace built in for extra napping and a lightened task list.
Which leads me to this #Dailycupcake about Life follows the Pilates principle of "breath". Depending on what you need in your day you can take:
Just a nibble- “Breathing is the first act of life, and the last." -Joseph Pilates
A few bites– Set alarms with soothing sounds throughout the day to remind you to breathe
Every last bite– Carve out time each week for a month to allow 10-20 minutes of medication
