Here are a few thoughts to motivate you to achieve your goals:
1) Know your strengths. If exercising in the morning is uncomfortable for you, you don’t need to force that. Don’t complicate the process for achieving your goal. The goal is to exercise each day. To do that find what suits you, so you’re encouraged to do it each day.
2) Be honest. Do you want to be fit and healthier for you or for someone else (societal pressures)? Having clear internal motivations is much more powerful.
3) Keep taking steps. Consider your goals a lifestyle and ease into it. If you start out with lofty expectations that don’t align with all your other demands, then it won’t be sustainable. Pilates practice is particularly adaptable to different skill levels. Each exercise has modifications. You also may be stronger in certain areas and less so in others. Breaking each exercise down and working up will give you maximal benefits and best of all you’ll see and feel the progress.
