If you are like most, you work about 35-50 hours per week, and you spend another 20-30 on your family and household activities. But what do you do with the other 32-57 hours (after sleeping each night)? Do you spend all that time (enough for another full-time job) following pursuits that are meaningful to you? If you attended a 45 minute Pilates class each day with some time built in for travel, you’d still have about 22-47 left over. Taking excellent care of your body can take just 6% of your time each week.
If that isn’t motivating enough, then consider that recent research shows that you are better off being moderately overweight and active than normal weight and sedentary. You prioritize you work and family, but prioritizing your health too will make all areas of your life shine. So what are you waiting for? It is time to get moving.
